Google Move Over?

Well as soon as one business is built another rises up under to try to outs the other businesses. So goes it with online technology and business.

I have to tell you about a new search engine that launched today claiming to be better than Google? Cuil launched today. The Cuil founders, former wizards at Google, IBM, and other techs took $33 million from venture capitalists to form Cuil. Cuil is an old Irish Celtic word for knowledge. Looking for knowledge, ask Cuil.

Check them out. They have a different format which is cool. Not all sites are in there yet so if you are looking for something it may not be there. I tried a couple and didn't find them. They say they search for and rank pages based on their content and relevance. When they find a page with your keywords, they stay on that page and analyze the rest of its content, its concepts, their inter-relationships and the page’s coherency. Then they offer you helpful choices and suggestions until you find the page you want and that you know is out there. I found this search engine lacking but it is the first day. Sites that I knew were out there, it couldn't find even when I gave it the exact site. It is the first day and may take a little while to get it going.

If you have a website, get out there and submit to their search engine.
