Now many people would wonder what planting seeds has to do with making money online. J.D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, Aristotle Onassis, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey and Col. Sanders knew how it had to do with making money.
Most people should know at least one or two of the names I mentioned if they don't know all of them. Hopefully you will recognize the name of at least one of these great people who started with nothing and ended with tremendously wealthy empires.
I'm talking about the more money you give, the more you make. It has proven to increase wealth through the ages. No technology. No computers systems. Nothing has helped create more money than the simple fact that giving money away, attracts more prosperity to the giver.
Now most people, if they know of the principle at all, don't do it the right way it. They think the secret is to "Give money to receive money." The problem for most people is in letting go of their money. They fear not having enough money. They fear they will be left out. They want to give but give a small fraction of what they have or give unwilling or as a duty not with an attitude of gratitude. Abundance alludes them because of fear.
Some many years ago I met Col. Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken AKA KFC, in his twilight years. I asked him the secret to making money. As he had started KFC when he was in his sixties and ended with a vast empire.
He said, "He began tithing 10% of his income." "But it is not the tithing, it's the attitude of gratitude to give with a willing heart that is the key to prosperity."
He continued, "If you feel down or doing it because you should do it, the money is being given with an ungrateful heart. It's like writing a check to someone that you don't feel good about. This blocks the flow of abundance in your life."
I said, "You mean if I don't feel good about giving the church my money, then I'm keeping the church from prospering?"
He nodded his head and said, "You keep both you and the church from prospering!" "When you give with a willing heart, you open the flow to prosperity. Have you ever given someone money that you felt really good about even though it was your last bit of money?"
"Like when a gave a homeless couple ten dollars and all I had was twenty dollars?"
"How did you feel?"
"I was excited to be able to help them because they had a baby that needed to be fed. I was kind of nervous because I needed to buy my groceries with that money but I felt they needed it more than I did so I was happy."
"Exactly, you can't out give your Creator." "I am happy today to give away ninety percent of the money I make and live on ten percent because ten percent is more than enough money for me to live and provide for my family."
"Awesome! So in other words, I must give in an attitude of gratitude rather than just give."
"Yes." "But you can't do it boastfully either." "You must give with a humble, grateful heart."
Silence fell and I thanked him for his bit of wisdom that he told me.
Then I remember my Grandfather had told me how he had given his last twenty dollars to a couple with a small baby that needed money for formula. He had been on his way to buy groceries for his wife and five small children when he came upon this couple. He gave it willingly and joyfully knowing that he would get back abundantly more than he had given. Shortly after he arrive home that evening, another couple came to their door and said they had been impressed to bring them some food. They brought a cooked turkey, dressing and all the fixings plus at least $200 dollars worth of food for the pantry.
The money gets attracted by the humble grateful heart and causes a ripple effect to replenish the money. There is an abundant supply. Knowing there is an abundant supply makes it easy for us in planting seeds of faith with our money. Few people do it. Make sure you feel good about it even when you pay your bills. Do it with an attitude of gratitude. See how blessed you really are?

Inches Before You
Inches Before You

Some of our most memorable achievement are made within inches before your grasp or just one more blow will make the difference. How close have you come to success? One more step? One more inch? One more attempt? Our greatest victories lie moments ahead of us. Working from home or making money online or starting your own business is like that too.
While studying in Tae Kwan Do, a form of martial arts, while in college I definitely came upon a few moments where the last thing in the world I wanted to do was get up at 5 am and go to practice. I'm not a morning person but that was the only time I had to practice. Don't quit, don't get discourage. Keep on keeping on. I understand how getting run down can happen, but don't let it. The greatest fruits lie just inches past where we think we can go. We've gotta keep moving. Keep pushing forward. Sometimes we feel like you're hitting a brick wall but sometimes we are not. Sometimes all we are hitting is a pebble on the road. Don't make it a mountain!
That wall we'll never break through if we decide it is easier and smarter to just stop wasting our energy. This is what happened to me. I got another person who shared the same goals as I did. She wasn't a morning person either but she really wanted to master the techniques. I had the same goal so we would inspire each other to get to the gym and push forward. One hour of hard workouts and then over to the exercise gym for another hour of aerobic workouts and swimming. It wasn't the same type of workout but what it did for us was get us in shape. It pumped us up. It empowered our minds as well as our bodies. We didn't think about the brick wall. We drove right through it in record time.
Had I not found a someone who was in someways like me but stronger in some areas that would push me to my limits and make me a little stronger, I may have never hit my goal. Sometimes what is holding us back isn't a mountain but just a little pebble in the road. Be a little more persistent and we're overcome the obstacle. Sometimes the solution is right before our eyes and we fail to pick it up because we don't see the full picture. Having someone to help you see more of the picture may be just what is needed to breakthrough to the inches before you with success. Don't give up, change your focus.
If you want to make money online or having your own business, you feel the same as I did with Tae Kwon Do. You may be doing everything right to make money online. You just need to reach out to the inches before you. You need to concentrate your effort to be all that you can be. What is your greatest achievement? How far do you want to go?

The Power of A Team

No man is an island. Sometimes when we start out in business for ourselves, we feel that we are all alone. Do you feel like you are battling all uphill? That with each step you take the mountain gets harder to climb? The burden gets heavier? You are not alone.
Over the years, I've since come across many people who have helped me, inspired me to become far larger than myself by demonstrating the power of being part of a team and fighting our way back to climb every mountain we face in business as well as our personal life. They have told me in various ways that they can't do it for me, they can only tell me that it can be done. Even when you have a business for yourself, you have mentors to help you along the way. Even Henry Ford had a mindset team that was not part of his business but helped him dream possibilities and inspired him.
I think this inspiring speech by Al Pacino in "On Any Given Sunday" makes the point of the power of a team. It's the little things that make the difference between losing and winning. In the strings of life the margin for error is so small. Just a baby step too late or too early, or too fast or too slow, and we don't quite make it. Those little differences are around us everywhere, every day. It's the little difference in the power of a team that makes the difference. We have to fight for each baby step we take. It's the difference between living and dying. It's the difference in losing or becoming a success. It's because we are still willing to fight and die for that difference. The power of a team is what living is all about. Abundance in living comes from learning to make the little differences that bring about abundant living. It's about having the power of a team.

Attracting The Law of Attraction

Sometimes we feel like we are asking for abundance in our lives but abundance avoids them. Everything we do turns abundance away from ourselves. While everything a friend does seems to turn to gold. So I guess you could say that everything we do turns to pod. Guess what? Take a look at what you are thinking. Take a look at what you are feeling. Yeah! Everything you think about and everything you feel either pushes the law of attraction and abundance toward you or away from you.
Take for a moment what are you thinking. Take three areas of your life that you want abundance to follow you. We are not always surrounded by the law of abundance. We develop it by practicing it and turning our stinking thinking in positive thoughts. Take advantage of it. It's like making a cake. If you are making the cake for the first time, it's slower than when you are making the millionth cake. It's because you are internally aware of what it takes to attract abundance into it. What point to you want to be? Where are you now?
Try taking the three areas of your life that you want abundance to follow. On a scale of 1 to 100 pick a number of where you think your vibration is at this point in your life. Lets say the three areas are financial wealth, business and home relationships or whatever you have chosen. Is there one area that is lower and may be contaminating your life? Start working on that area first. When your number is high you will attract abundance more often.
As you raise the bar in one area of your life you will find the other areas in your life improve also because your mind is in the habit of seeking your best possibilities. It is like a robot. It's not your job to get everything done to make it happen. It is your job to place the order and believe. Your mind is the robot. It seeks out possibilities to make it happen once you have placed the order and truly believe it will happen. Otherwise you block the flow of abundance in your life. If you place the order but believe it will never happen, then you are giving the robot mixed signals and therefore it goes round and round in circles or figure its because it gets sidetracked.
It's like in the movie "Kung Fu Panda", when the Master had to teach Po the Panda to be the Dragon Warrior. Until he believed that Po was to be the Dragon Warrior, he could not teach him. Once the Master believed, he got Po to believe and then Po learned without realizing he was learning. Po wanted nothing more than to learn martial arts like his heroes, but worried he was destined to be nothing more than a noodle seller like his father. He underwent training, learned to believe in himself, faces his most feared enemy, and along the way teaches his Master a valuable lesson. He became the Dragon Warrior. The naysayers became believers when they saw Po the Dragon Warrior in action. Sound familiar?
You can change, you can do it! You can begin to attract the law of attraction and abundance into your life. Your cashflow can improve until your cup runneth over. Your business can turn around and your relationships at home can heal. You can have it all. If you need help, email me.

Do you feel a sense of overwhelm every time you open up your email client and see all those email messages waiting for your response? Every day, there are more and more and more! All just waiting for you to take some sort of action! If you answered yes, you're not alone. Heck, we live in the information age and we work Online. Everyone, including you and me, wants everything immediately.
Do you feel stressed about it? Maybe even overwhelmed? I'm guessing that you have felt this way at least a few times -- if not on a daily basis.
More often than not, most people attempt to tackle several of their daily tasks all at once. Doing a little bit of project A, then a little bit of project B, then a little of project C and so on. Then by the end of the day, week, month or even year, they have done a little of everything but have not completed any one task in full.

The Secret to Working Less and Earning More
Work less and earn more. Yeah right. You hear that all the time but nobody ever actually shows you how it's done. Well, get ready, because I'm about to. And when you see how simple it is, you might just kick yourself!
The secret to working less and earning more is focus. With concentrated focus you'll get a great deal more accomplished in a much shorter period of time. What's the quickest way from point A to point B?
A straight line, right? It's not rocket science. So STOP multi-tasking. Multi-tasking just means meandering aimlessly without focus. Doing so gets you nowhere fast.
Don't believe me? Take a look at the chart below and follow along. In the example, you'll see there are three projects at hand. Project A, Project B and Project C.
In BOTH scenarios, each of the three projects requires a total of three weeks of time for completion.
In the first scenario, titled "Focus Equals Productivity", each of the three projects are tackled one at a time with a focused effort. As a result, Project A is completed in 3 weeks and in theory should start making you some money.
Now, while the cash flow from project A is coming in, you start project B and work on it for three weeks until completion. Now, after six weeks, you have two projects completed and cash flow coming in from both. So you start project C and complete it in three weeks.
In this scenario, all three projects were completed in full in just nine weeks. Furthermore, you began to see the results after just three weeks from project A and then after six and nine weeks for project B and C respectively.
Now let's look at the second and, unfortunately, all-too-common scenario titled, "The Multi-Tasking Myth". In this scenario, you begin by working on project A for one week, then you move onto project B for one week, then you do a little of project C for one week.
Therefore, at the end of three weeks of 'multi-tasking' you have done a little of each project but you have not completed any. Therefore, nothing is complete and you have no new cash flow. So you repeat this process spending one week on each project again.
Now six weeks have passed and still, none of the projects are complete, and you still have no new cash flow. So you continue on with each of the projects, spending one week at a time on each until all three projects are finally complete.
As you can see, when multi-tasking, it takes an entire seven weeks before just one task is completed and has the potential of earning you money. To get all three projects completed takes you twenty-one weeks. That's four weeks of lost productivity on EACH project!
But wait, it gets worse. Do you really think you can go nine entire weeks without a great new idea coming your way? Seriously, we all come up with brilliant new ideas and projects all the time that threaten to take us off course. The result? Half-finished projects get pushed to the 'back burner' and never actually get completed. Before you know it, the entire year has gone by and you've accomplished very little.
TIP: Turn off your email! Email is the biggest time killer there is. Every time you look at your email you'll get side-tracked from the task at hand.
Stay focused and only check your email during set times each day. I review and respond to email for one hour each morning then I turn it off and get on with my ONE project. Then, at noon or after lunch, I'll check my email for responses to any communication that was opened in the morning. After that, I turn it off for the rest of the day and, if I get a chance, I'll take one more quick look in the late afternoon.
Anything more than that is too much. If you need more time than that, I recommend you consider hiring some support staff to help you take care of support issues, set up meetings for you, and review joint venture proposals.

Get Paid To Give Your Opinion
It turns out that some of those so called free work at home offers really are free and they really do work.
I was sceptical when I first heard yet one more Internet stranger claim that anyone could get paid to work at home without selling and without investing a penny. Sure, tell me about it. Probably another envelope stuffing scam.
But being the eternal optimist that I am, I checked it out. Bam! Home run!
It seems that thousands of people are getting paid to fire up their computers and log into consumer survey sites that actually pay them just to take an online survey. "No way," I thought.
So I looked deeper.
Here's what I found out.
Because big companies spend billions of dollars on advertising and launching new products, they can't afford to make a mistake. So, before they launch their new product or service, they hire a consumer opinion companies who reach out and contact every-day people like you and me. Once they contact us they offer us money in return for taking a few minutes to fill out an online survey.
How much do they pay? Some surveys pay out less than $10; some are worth $15, $20, $35 or more, and some even pay you with prizes and merchandise which makes it even more fun.

Business Storm
We're preparing for a storm on the Texas coast. It reminded me that we have storms in business also. We must prepare ourselves in order to weather the storms and thrive. Monday, Monday
People write me all the time telling me how much they stress out on Monday - like the song says, Monday, Monday can't stand that day -- just because it is "Monday." One lady said she thought every Monday she was pregnant because she had morning sickness on the way to work. I wrote her back and asked her why? She said "I get so nauseated on the way to work now cause I can't stand it there! I feel like I'm gonna get sick even as I get ready for work!" And that's a Crappy way to start the week, I thought. And this woman's NOT alone!!
