We've talked many times about reaching for the extra inch and here we go again. When you are in business for yourself ... and you must be if you are reading this or you are thinking of having a business ... you are constantly looking for ways to make more money. The people that will help build your business are the people that use and see the results daily. They become emotionally attached because it means something to them. Think about it. What do you get excited about...that's right, the ones that you use. If it helped you, then you believe in it. You want others to know about it. You are eager to tell others. For example, why would a skinny girl want to sell weight loss products? If she has never been overweight, how can she know the heartaches and struggles the overweight person has had? If she has always had money, how can she share the excitement of overcoming obstacles and having money for the extra things in life besides the necessities?
Look at economic ways to boost your business. In financial crisis times, it is time to take a closer look of ways to get exposure. You can either wait for people to come to you. In which case you will be dying on the vine. Or you can find ways to market to the masses. The Internet has opened the doors wide open with possibilities. Look at the way the social media gathered peoples attention to the USA's Presidential Election or the way the news spread rapidly throughout the world about Mumbai. Social marketing, tele-conferencing, youtube and podcast are the wave of the future. You can quickly and economically put yourself in front of a lot of people who are truly interested in your products or services.
Talk is cheap. The Internet has created us a way to talk to others miles away...even across the world. You can prosper from home in your business in ways that you never thought possible. You can expand to areas of the world that you never dreamed of. Learn to use these tools effectively. The cost becomes child play. Or creating a podcast. How many people could you talk to in a day? How many of those listening may want to join you or your products and services? You are starting to see the picture at how fast you business can grow.
It's not enough to have a website. You need to learn how to promote it...how to drive people to it...how people can find you. If you don't promote it, who will? Tap into your market. Where do they hang out? Use the Internet. The power of the Internet is at your fingertips to jumpstart your business. It is so powerful that it has created millions of dollars in a very short time span.
Know how to write what it is you want to convey. Your prospects or new associates could be reading what you have written while you are sleeping, with another prospect or even while you are having fun. That could have an empowering impact on your business. You will be amazed at how quickly your business will explode with the right words. It might even help you to pay someone to write the right words to grow your business within the next year. Prosper in the midst of the financial crisis.
Wouldn't it be nice to one day while you are having a relaxing breakfast on the patio of your new home to realize that you need to get away. You decide to fly to your favorite paradise.
